"Mary Skelter 2" is now available on Steam and GOG.com for $33.99CDN on Steam, thanks to the 15 per cent, discount and $39.99CDN on GOG. The PC release means "Mary Skelter 2" is no longer exclusive to the Nintendo Switch after over two to three years.
"Mary Skelter 2" is about two girls named Otsuu and Little Mermaid. They do missions in The Jail, a place where monsters roam and torture humans. After saving two individuals named Alice and Jack, things go wrong.
From there, Otsuu and Little Mermaid must challenge fate itself.
"Mary Skelter 2" is an alternate story to the original "Mary Skelter: Nightmares." A remake of "Nightmares" is available for free alongside "Mary Skelter 2" like with the Nintendo Switch version.
All the free downloadable content from the Nintendo Switch Version will be included in the PC port. This includes a Mary Skelter Game Item, Death end re;Quest Job Attires, and more.
However, a minigame, known as the Purge Corruption minigame, has been censored due to "circumstances out of their control," Ghostlight said in a Steam forum post. The minigame can be seen in the below trailer, but be warned it's sexually suggestive.
Idea Factory, who created "Hyperdimension Neptunia," developed all three "Mary Skelter" games. The third title, the 2020 "Mary Skelter: Finale," having its 2021 North American localization exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch version of "Mary Skelter 2" is positively received on Metacritic with generally favourable reviews.
