What Information does The Game Knot collect? 
The Game Knot collects information on The Game Knot website. Information may be collected at numerous points when using The Game Knot website. Information can include your first name, last name, country address (ex. Canada), and e-mail address.

The Game Knot also has analytics of the site sessions by visitors, unique visitors, page views, and the site's Bounce Rate (users that leave the site after only viewing one page). The Game Knot however, cannot identify which specific visitors/users do what unless they give information themselves (ex. subscribing to The Game Knot, leaving a comment, etc.). 

 

When does The Game Knot collect your Personal Information?

This information is only collected by The Game Knot when the User/Visitor gives such information on or to The Game Knot, by Essential Cookies, or optional Cookies. What does The Game Knot do with your Personal Information?

General Use

The Game Knot only uses your Personal Information for identifying users, keeping track of Users on The Game Knot website, for analytics, to improve the Game Knot website, to understand how visitors interact with The Game Knot website, and to remember user's choices when using The Game Knot for a more personalized experience.

Any Personal Information shared with such frames is given/collected by third-parties and not Wix, nor the Game Knot. The interactions and sharing done with these third parties are governed by their own policies.

Wix Subsidiaries and Affiliated Companies

Personal Information may be shared by Wix to their subsidiaries and affiliated companies in their family of companies. For example, Wix may share your Personal Information to their U.S. Wix subsidiary, in the course of facilitating and providing you with their Services.

Wix may contact you to alert of important information regarding their Services or use of. Some examples include if a Service is suspended, if your support ticket needs to be responded to, warnings with payments (upcoming and late) or subscriptions (upcoming and late), forwarding abuse complaints regarding a user's website, or notifying you of material changes in the Services.

You can only opt-out of not receiving these messages if you are no longer a Wix User. 

Linking to other websites
The Game Knot will link to other websites in articles, like other blogs, social media(s), and more. The Game Knot has no control over the privacy policies and practices of linked websites and is therefore not responsible for any potential privacy problems outside of the Game Knot website.

Accessing your Personal Information 

You have the right to request access to Personal Information The Game Knot has collected and The Game Knot will comply in thirty days or less at no cost. You can also ask for corrections of the Personal Information if needed, again, at no cost. In some cases, you may have to prove your identity to make sure you are not impersonating someone else.

However, there are exceptions. One case would be if The Game Knot is prohibited by law to give your Personal Information to you.

This prompt is always available at the bottom of The Game Knot website. To be clear, while The Game Knot does not sell your Personal Information, data can be shared to third parties intentionally or not on The Game Knot's part. We do not knowingly collect the Personal Information of individuals who are the age 13 or under. In the event this does happen and The Game Knot is made aware of this, we will delete the Personal Information related to the individual(s) who is/are 13 or under from our records.
