'NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER' Cheaters Subject to Banning this Thursday

Banned players will lose access to online play, a crucial part of replayability for many fighting games today.

Bandai Namco US announced on Twitter that on October 14, at 4 a.m. EDT, players caught cheating in the action game, "NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER," will lose the ability to play online battles.

"NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER" released in 2018 and has been the subject of cheating players as early as the month after the game first released.

One of these cheats involves using a mod to enable set characters to the highest level, give a Max XP Master, and more. Other cheats can involve spamming ultimate attacks when they shouldn't be able to, and more.

The cheating can result in unfair matches against players that play "NARUTO TO BORUTO: SHINOBI STRIKER" fairly.

"We will continue to monitor and take appropriate action against cheating players in an effort to improve the #NTBSS community for everyone." Bandai Namco US said in a reply to their tweet.
