The Open Beta Test (OBT) for "Resident Evil Re:Verse" was put into maintenance due to server problems.
Capcom Dev 1 on Twitter reported that the problem was being investigated, but that the OBT was still open.
However, some players stated they were still unable to connect to online games in this online multiplayer only game.
Two hours later, Capcom Dev 1 made another tweet stating the OBT would temporarily close until the problem is fixed.
Despite the maintenance, testing the servers of "Resident Evil Re:Verse" is part of the OBT, according to the website for "Resident Evil Re:Verse" OBT website.
The OBT launched April 8 at 2:00 a.m.. EST though. Maintenance occurred less than five hours after the OBT became available.
Given how soon maintenance occurred and the matchmaking problems, the frustration of players is understandable, especially those looking forward to “Resident Evil Re:Verse.”
Hopefully, with the problems of the servers recognized early, Capcom can not only be resolved soon but also give players an extra day to enjoy the OBT.
