SEGA's 'Humankind' Releases the 'Cultures of Africa' Pack, Including Six Cultures

The DLC for "Humankind" also comes with seven new independent people, five new wonders, and 15 brand new narrative events.

The first DLC for "Humankind" is out now for $9.44CDN, 10 per cent off from the original $10.49CDN until Jan. 24, 2022. This DLC brings the total number of cultures from 60 at launch to 66.

The DLC pack includes six new cultures that originate from Africa from six different eras. These include:

  • Bantu (Era 1)

  • Garamantes (Era 2)

  • Swahili (Era 3)

  • Maasai (Era 4)

  • Ethiopians (Era 5)

  • Nigerians (Era 6)

Five new wonders from Africa are also being added, the new wonders being:

  • Mount Kilimanjaro

  • Victoria Falls

  • Zuma Rock

  • Lake Natron

  • Great Mosque of Djenné

Additionally, 15 new narrative events and seven independent people have been added.

"Humankind" was developed in mid-2021 by Amplitude Studios, who has made the "Endless" SRPG games such as "Endless Legends."

"Humankind" is a turn-based strategy game where players build a civilization with a combination of cultures. To win, the player must complete a victory condition such as achieving a specific amount of fame.

The "Cultures of Africa" pack will not be available to Mac users at the same time as PC users, due to a glitch where Mac users cannot access DLC they've purchased for the title.
