The 'Ace Attorney' Franchise is Now on Sale on Steam

The two "Ace Attorney" titles on Steam, being collections of multiple games in the series, are now on sale. "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy" is 50 per cent off, with "The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles" 25 per cent off.

The "Ace Attorney" games are visual novels with point-and-click gameplay and logic puzzles. In the series, the player controls an attorney defending clients from falsely accused murders.

The most iconic of the playable attorneys in the series is Phoenix Wright. The "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy" focuses on the first three titles in the franchise.

  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney

  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All

  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations

The "Trilogy" version is a HD collection with remastered visuals from prior releases.

The trilogy originally released on the Gameboy Advance "Ace Attorney" titles from 2001 to 2004. The first three games were localized in the west for the Nintendo DS between 2005 to 2007.

"The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles" is a collection of two entries focusing on Phoenix Wright's ancestor, Ryunosuke Naruhodo:

  • The Great Ace Attorney: The Adventures of Ryuunosuke Naruhodou

  • The Great Ace Attorney 2: The Resolve of Ryuunosuke Naruhodou

The game titles listed above are directly translated from Japanese, hence there are some minor differences.

The "The Great Ace Attorney" games were originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan. The first "Great Ace Attorney" was released in 2015, with the sequel coming out in 2017.

Last year, they were localized and released in the west for the first time through the "Chronicles" collection.

Multiple "Ace Attorney" games are still missing on Steam, such as: "Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney," "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies," and "Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth," more.
