'The Elder Scrolls Online' Announces the 2021 New Life Festival

The 2021 New Life Festival will begin December 16, 2021, at 10 a.m. EST to January 4, 2022, at 10 a.m. EST.

"The Elder Scrolls Online" will be celebrating the holidays and the New Year next week Thursday with the New Life Festival. The 2021 New Life Festival includes daily quests and festive items.

Each quest completed, event tickets spent, and New Life Festival Gift box opened grants players an item. These include torches, writs, pets, and many more.

Most rewards aren't new, returning from prior events, such as New Life Festivals starting back in 2016. There are a few new rewards, such as the Powderwhite Coney pet.

"As you can see, we’re bringing back the fragments for all of 2021’s quarterly event rewards, allowing you to catch up and complete previously available morphs," Zenimax Online Studios, the developers of "The Elder Scrolls Online" said in the announcement of the 2021 New Life Festival.

The New Life Festival started back in late 2016, two years after "The Elder Scrolls Online" released on PC and Mac. "The Elder Scrolls Online" would later release for Xbox One & PlayStation 4 in 2015, followed by a 2021 release for the PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series S|X.

"The Elder Scrolls Online" is a massive-multiplayer online role-playing game set in the iconic "Elder Scrolls" series. The franchise is most well-known for "Skyrim" and "Oblivion."

"The Elder Scrolls" franchise started back with "The Elder Scrolls: Arena" in 1994 by Bethesda Softworks.

"The Elder Scrolls Online" has over 20,000 players.
