The 'Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX' Sale on the Nintendo 3DS eShop Ends Tomorrow

"Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX" is 50 per cent off until March 15.

The 2015 Nintendo 3DS rhythm game featuring the iconic virtual idol Hatsune Miku, is discounted for $11.39CDN until March 15. The title also features "Puyo Puyo 39," seven Vocaloids, over 40 songs, and more.


"Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX" has songs from Vocaloids Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, GUMI, and more. Songs can be played with the touch screen or with the buttons.

The original music videos for the songs are recreated using the Nendoroid versions of the Vocaloids.


The player will also take care of the Vocaloids by feeding them food; giving them allowance; and playing Mikuversi, Reversi/Othello, with them.

Doing these activities enough will let the player become friends with the Vocaloid(s), with the only exception being GUMI.


There are also multiple side-activities do so such as:

  • A mini-virtual piano

  • "Puyo Puyo 39"

  • Creating dance routines

  • AR Station

With the Nintendo 3DS eShop shutting down next year, now's an excellent time to buy "Project Mirai DX" for anyone interested. As a reminder, the Nintendo 3DS eShop will no longer accept credit card funds May 2022 and eShop card funds August 2022,


"Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX" is the third entry in the 3DS "Project Mirai" spin-off series of the "Hatsune Miku: Project Diva" rhythm games.

"Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX" is an upgraded version of “Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2." “Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai," the first "Project Mirai" title," and "Project Mirai 2" only released in Japan.


The "Hatsune Miku: Project" games are developed by Sega. The Vocaloids were developed by Crypton Future Media.

Vocaloids are voicebanks for vocal synthesizers to create vocals for songs. Hatsune Miku's voicebank was released in 2007, becoming the most popular voicebank and virtual idol.


Physical releases of "Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX" go from, excluding shipping costs, around $40CDN to over $240CDN.
