"El Gancho" is no longer exclusive to itch.io, now available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, and Xbox One. "El Gancho" is around $7.19CDN, 10 per cent off from its original $8.99CDN temporarily.
In "El Gancho," the player controls a creature called a Coco, whose kind has been captured by the Pogovon Empire.

"El Gancho" was developed by SidralGames. SidralGames has only worked on "El Gancho" and "Task Force Kampas (TFK)". "El Gancho" began development in 2019, releasing sometime in 2021 on itch.io.
"Playing with a prototype platform and TFK's little coco, and realizing how much fun it was and the possibilities offered by the grappling hook mechanics as a displacement method, we decided to focus on it as the main mechanic of the game, opening ourselves up to development of a roguelike-style video game, something that we really wanted to do," SidralGames said.
"El Gancho" takes place in the same universe as "TFK."
