The latest "Syberia" game is now available after around four years of development.
The fourth entry in the point & click adventure series is now available on Steam, GOG.com, and Epic Games Store. "Syberia: The World Before" is $45.49CDN.
The console versions will come out later this year, according to Microids, the developers and publishers of the "Syberia" games.
In "Syberia: The World Before," the player controls 17-year-old Dana Roze in 1930s Vaghen. The player also controls Kate Walker in 2004 Taiga, the protagonist of the "Syberia" Series.
Dana Roze is a pianist who's future looks bleak due to the fascist organization the Brown Shadow. Kate Walker is trapped in a salt mine, searching for both a way out and her identity.
To progress, players must solve puzzles and riddles through point-and-click gameplay.
"Syberia: The World Before" was announced in 2019. "Syberia: The World Before" is releasing nearly 10 years after the original "Syberia" released in September 2002.
The "Syberia" titles were created by Benoît Sokal, with Sokal also working on "The World Before" before he passed away in May of last year. The "Syberia" games have been commercially successful, with the first "Syberia" selling nearly 350,000 copies.
