Adorable Indie Platformer 'Frogun' Out Now Digitally, Physical Versions Open to Pre-Order

Despite releasing today, the protagonist of "Frogun" has already been turned into a marketable plushie thanks to Limited Run Games.

The 3D Platformer is now available on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. Most digital versions of "Frogun" are also on sale for 15 to 20 per cent, sale expiration dates vary.


"Frogun" also has a Deluxe Edition featuring a 50-page digital artbook, digital manual, and original soundtrack for PC releases. For console versions, the original soundtrack is available in the Music Listening Room.

A physical edition of "Frogun" is also available on Limited Run Games for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 for $34.99USD.


A Collector's Edition is also available for the three consoles (Switch, PS4, PS5). This edition features—the physical soundtrack, artbook, manual, sticker sheet, collector's cover box, and a reversible poster for $69.99USD.

An adorable plushie of the protagonist of "Frogun," Renata, is also available on Limited Run Games for $23.99USD.

All physical products for "Frogun" on Limited Run Games are available until Sept. 4.


"Frogun" follows Renata as she searches for her parents in the Beelzebub Ruins after they've been missing for three days. With her parent's latest invention, Frogun, a grappling hook shaped like a frog, she'll set forth on this lowpoly adventure.

"Frogun" uses lowpoly graphics reminiscent of the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation titles of the late 1990s. "Frogun" also includes emblems for doing challenges, shortcuts, a photo mode, and a two-player mode for dueling.


"Frogun" was developed by indie developer Raúl Martínez Garrido, with the alias Molegato, Raúl Martínez Garrido has been releasing games since 2013 and has worked on seven games, including "Sword of Storms," "Demented Pixie," and more.

Top Hat Studios is publishing "Frogun." They've also published titles like "Sense - 不祥的预感: A Cyberpunk Ghost Story." They also developed and published "The Citadel" With developer doekuramori.


"Frogun" was shown in the "Guerrilla Collective 3.0 and Wholesome Direct Livestream" back in June this year during their annual digital game showcase; "Frogun's" appearance in the showcase is listen as an award on the indie title's Steam page.
