Updated: Aug 22, 2022

Eight girls, only one is supposed to leave.

"Asatsugutori" has released today in Japan for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, developed by Nippon Ichi Software. "Asatsugutori" is a top-down investigation game with visual novel elements.

The player takes control of a girl named Hibari. She is trapped alongside seven other girls in a mysterious building.

She and the other girls are given the goal to escape by killing each other. However, Hibari can time travel to loop the day a girl was murdered. It's the player's own goal to prevent the murders of the girls.

"Asatsugutori" is available digitally on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan today. Physical copies can be bought at digital overseas retailors such as Playasia.

Nippon Ichi Software is a video game developer and publisher. They're most well known for the "Disgaea" series. Outside of Japan, they're more well known for their North American branch, NIS America.

"Asatsugutori" was announced this August on Nippon Ichi Software's YouTube channel.
