'Anno 1404 - History Edition' Free on Ubisoft Store Until December 14, 2021

From today to Dec. 14, "Anno 1404 - History Edition" will be free on Ubisoft PC Connect as a part of Ubisoft's 35th Anniversary. "Anno 1404" was originally released as "Dawn of Discovery" in North America.

"Anno 1404" is a city-building strategy game originally released in 2009.

"Anno 1404 - History Edition" released in 2020 and updates the game to function properly on modern computers. The "History Edition" also includes the Venice expansion.

"Anno 1404" was developed by Related Designs and Blue Byte, two German development teams who merged into one development team called Ubisoft Mainz. Blue Byte worked on the "Settlers" and "Battle Isle" Franchises.

"Anno 1404" is the fourth entry in the "Anno" series, with the first entry being "Anno 1602: Creation of a New World," titled "1602 A.D." in North America.
