'ARK: Survival Evolved' Unleashes Turkey Trial Five for this Year's Thanksgiving

The scavenger hunt for U.S. Thanksgiving is back until December 7.

Starting today to Dec. 7, players will be able to hunt Super Turkeys for Thanksgiving, using their Wishbones to get a costume, skins, and more. Turkey Trial 5 will also have an EVO event coming up alongside it.

The event is also scheduled to end on Dec. 21, however going by other Turkey Trials that always go on for around two weeks, excluding the first Turkey Trial that only went for a week, Dec. 21 is likely a typo.

Super Turkeys may look like the average turkey, but they are highly dangerous opponents in combat.

When defeated, a Super Turkey will drop a Wishbone. Wishbones are used to craft skins, to summon DodoRex temporarily, or for the luxurious Turkey Costume.

The original Turkey Trial began in 2015 on Nov. 25, The event was similar, but only a hat could be crafted and the DodoRex could summoned. Turkey Trial 5 offers more cosmetics to craft.

There is also an EVO event that's coming for "Survival Evolved," however no date has been listed. The rest of the announcement features the Community Corner, where videos and fan art from players are shown.

"Ark: Survivor Evolved" is an open-world survival game where players fight and tame deadly dinosaurs and other creatures on a mysterious island. The goal is to escape.

"Ark: Survival Evolved" went into Early Access and Preview in 2015, releasing as a full game in 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. "Survival Evolved" would later come to the Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and the Epic Games Store.

The Turkey Trial event did not occur in 2017 nor 2018, Turkey Trial 2 took place in 2016 while Turkey Trial 3 took place in 2019.
