'Back 4 Blood' Releases First Expansion 'Tunnels of Terror'

Bug fixes, rebalancing, and more are available in the April 2022 update today.

The FPS zombie shooter's first expansion is now available to buy for $19.99CDN (Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, PlayStation) with two new characters and more. The April 2022 update includes free content like the No Hope difficulty.

The two new characters are ex-firefighter Sharice and ex-chef Heng. Alongside the two new characters are three more enemies, known as the Ridden, and seven more Ridden Hives.

Additionally, 20 new weapons, 17 Cards, new character & weapon skins, new banners, and more have also been added in the expansion.

One new card is the Weaponsmith Card that allows the unbolting of weapon attachments from weapons for 400 Copper. With the Weaponsmith Card, unbolting can be done outside of saferooms.

The No Hope difficulty is the highest difficulty in the game. "Cleaners who conquer the highest difficulty mode will reap significant rewards and prove their place amongst the best of the best," the announcement page for the "Tunnels of Terror" expansion said.

The No Hope difficulty is free, and the "Tunnels of Terror" does not have to be bought to access it.

Many bug fixes, rebalances and visual improvements have also been added to "Back 4 Blood."

"Back 4 Blood" released October 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. "Back 4 Blood" was developed by Turtle Rock Studios, who developed the original "Left 4 Dead."
