‘Cris Tales’ Launches on all Platforms Today

The new indie game from Modus Games is now available for all to experience this world-saving adventure available on home consoles and PC.

Physical copies are available for all home consoles. There is also a Collector’s Edition, but it’s sold out for all platforms.

The prices for each version of “Cris Tales” is $49.99CDN with a few exceptions.

The Steam, Epic Games Store’s, and GOG.com version’s base price is $49.99CDN, but “Cris Tales” currently has a 10 per cent discount, making it $44.99CDN on PC platforms until July 27, 2021.

The digital PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 release costs $53.49CDN, while a physical PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5 copy costs $49.99CDN, excluding tax.

“Cris Tales” is a turn-based role-playing game in the same vein as Japanese Role-Playing Games (JRPGs) like “Final Fantasy VI,” “Chrono Trigger,” and more. In fact, the developers were inspired by those iconic JRPGs and more.

The game’s story is about The Empress’ multi-layered plot to destroy the world. A plot that won't be easy to triumph.

This requires the player to look at the past to make decisions in the present to change the future.

The developers are Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK. This appears to be their debut game.

“Cris Tales” was originally announced at E3 2019, with its demo being released on Steam at the time for feedback.
