E3 2021 makes a Triumphant Return this June as a Virtual Event

Updated: Jun 23, 2021

E3 2021 will have a four-day long stream. Registration for attendees will begin in Spring this year.

There will be extra days of the event for influencers and media from June 7-11.

E3 2020 was cancelled last year due to concerns over the Coronavirus, which is the only time the event has been cancelled.

The E3, the Electronic Entertainment Experience, convention is run by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA).

E3 is a staple for the gaming industry. Companies like Ubisoft, Sony, Nintendo, and more present big announcements for their games/consoles.

President & CEO of the ESA said in a press release, “for more than two decades, E3 has been the premier venue to showcase the best that the video game industry has to offer, while uniting the world through games.”

The return of E3, and it being free on top of that, makes for exciting news.

The press release also states, “the ESA looks forward to coming back together to celebrate E3 2022 in person, in the meantime see you online this June!”

This could potentially be the both the only virtual E3 and most unique E3 convention.
