On April 7, “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind's” protagonist, Giorno Giovanna, will become playable in “JUMP FORCE" on April 13.
For those who bought the Characters Pass 2, he will be available on April 9. Giorno alone will cost $4.99 like the other DLC fighters.
Giorno fights with his stand, Gold Experience Requiem. A JoJo stand is a being made up of life energy that fights for or alongside its user.
Golden Experience Requiem is capable of many things, such as throwing many punches within seconds while shouting Muda, meaning useless or futile in Japanese.
This makes Giorno the last character of the season 2 pass for "JUMP FORCE" and the third playable "JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure" character.
The other two JoJo characters in "JUMP FORCE" are Jotaro Kugo and Dio who appear in multiple "JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure" parts, such as “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.”
However, Giorno being included as DLC isn’t a surprise for anyone keeping up with “JUMP FORCE.” Last year, Giorno was prematurely released, alongside Yoruichi Shihoin from Bleach, to a select few due to a technical issue.
"JUMP FORCE" is a fighting game released in 2019, developed by Spike Chunsoft. It features many iconic anime characters, such as: Kenshiro from "Fist of the North Star," Goku from "Dragon Ball Z," Luffy from "One Piece," and many more.
Giorno himself has become popular not only because of JoJo’s popularity, but also because of his theme song.
Specifically, the part starting at 3:46 of the song and onwards. It’s not only catchy, but goes with everything, making it perfect meme material.
It’s unknown if this marks the full cast for "JUMP FORCE" or if a third Characters Pass is happening. If Giorno is the last "JUMP FORCE" character, he's a strong note to end on.
