'Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition' is Official after Announcement

The leaked trilogy has officially been announced, including three classic "Grand Theft Auto" titles.

The "Grand Theft Auto: The trilogy - The Definitive Edition" will include "Grand Theft Auto III," "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City," and "Grand Theft Auto: Sans Andreas." This announcement comes after multiple rumours and leaks involving the trilogy.

According to the Rockstar Games Newswire, the trilogy will release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Rockstar Games Launcher on PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The trilogy will release in 2022 for IOS and Android phones.


Existing digital releases of the games included in the trilogy will be removed next week in preparation for the trilogy's launch.

The Newswire also says that the original look and feel of the games in the trilogy will remain intact, while upgrading the visuals and enhancing the gameplay.


This announcement comes after multiple rumours and leaks involving the trilogy that have been going on for months.


This includes an update a few days ago for the Rockstar Games Launcher which included files for the remastered games in the trilogy after an update.

This month on the 22nd will be the 20th anniversary of "Grand Theft Auto IIIs'" original release.
