As the title suggests, the last man standing wins.

The two new maps are Catalyst and Breaker. Catalyst is playable for most modes except for Stronghold in Quick Play. Catalyst is only available to play in Ranked Area with the Capture the Flag and Slayer modes.

Breaker is made for Big Team Battles (BTB).

Additionally, there will be multiple limited-time events throughout the season, such as today's Interference event, and a new Battle Pass that doesn't expire.

The returning mode, King of the Hill, has been in the "Halo" Series since the first title, "Halo: Combat Evolved."

While most of the modes being added in Season 2 are new, they take elements from prior modes in the "Halo" Series. For example, Land Grab is inspired by Territories, introduced in "Halo 2."

Unlike Territories, captured areas disappear in Land Grab.
