‘Lost Words: Beyond the Page’ is No Longer a Stadia Exclusive

The 2020 “Lost Words: Beyond the Page,” originally for only Stadia for over a year, is now available for all platforms.


“Lost Words: Beyond the Page” is now available on: PC from stores such as Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store; the Xbox One & Xbox Series; the Nintendo Switch; and the PlayStation 4 for $19.99CDN digitally.


The game came out on March 27, 2020 for Stadia. Modus Games, the publisher, publishes some of their games on Stadia. This is their only title to be Stadia Exclusive.

“Lost Words: Beyond the Page” is the debut game of indie developer Sketchbook Games.


The story of “Lost Words: Beyond the Page” is about Isabelle Barbara Cooke, nicknamed Izzy. Izzy is a young girl who explores her own diary entries and the world of Estoria.


The story gives choices for the player to make as Izzy, which will alter the story.

The story was written by Rhianna Pratchlett who has worked on the 2013 Tomb Raider,Mirror’s Edge, and more.


“Lost Words: Beyond the Page” is a platformer that has Izzy using words to change her surroundings to progress. She can even use the words as platforms.

So far, “Lost Words: Beyond the Page” has 70s overall on Metacritic for the Switch, Stadia, and PS4 releases.


However, only the Stadia Metacritic page for Lost Words: Beyond the Page” has user reviews. The rest are critic reviews.


Whether this will be a hit for non-critics or not is something that will be seen in due time.
