'Marsupilami: Hoobadventure' Launches on Modern Platforms Today

The second video game based on the comic book series that debut in the 1950s is out now.

"Marsupilami" is back with a 2D platformer in "Marsupilami: Hoobadventure." "Hoobadventure" is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 4.


"Marsupilami: Hoobadventure" is about Punch, Twister, and Hope who end up releasing an evil being that curses the inhabitants of their land. Due to being Marsupilamis, they're immune to the curse, making them the only ones who can stop the antagonist.

"Marsupilami: Hoobadventure" has the player collecting items for secrets, going fast with a roll move, and platforming to reach the end of each level and world.


The "Marsupliami" series was a comic book by André Franquin that started running in 1952. The series would go on to have multiple cartoons, such as the 1993 cartoon, 2009 cartoon, and more.


"Marsupilami: Hoobadventure" also isn't the first "Marsupilami" video game, there was also the 1996 game for the Sega Genesis.

Ocellus Studios are the developers of "Hoobadventure," who have worked with developers on other titles, such as "Clash of Clans" and a few "Talking Tom" games.
