‘NEO: The World Ends With You’ Announced for Summer 2021 Release

The sequel to “The World Ends with You” now has trailers on Nintendo’s and PlayStation’s channels revealing its July 27 release.


The sequel, “NEO: The World Ends with You,” will also be coming to the Epic Game’s Store in Summer 2021.


The trailers showcase the combat, cast, and English voice actors.


PlayStation released its trailer seven to eight hours, around the same time as the Square Enix Twitter account.


Nintendo released their trailer one to two hours ago.


All trailers are the same, although the trailer on Square Enix’s account has all the release date information.


The trailers coincide with the release of the first episode of “The World Ends With You: The Animation." The first episode is releasing today on Funimation, an anime streaming service.


“The World Ends with You” is a JRPG released in 2007 for the Nintendo DS. Its stylish art, soundtrack, and gameplay made it stand out to a lot players.


“NEO: The World Ends with You” is following in the footsteps of a cult classic, and it has quite the legacy to live up to.
