Servers for "STAR WARS: The Old Republic' will be down for new Update

Servers for "The Old Republic" will be back up at 1 p.m. EST.

For four hours, the "STAR WARS: The Old Republic" servers will be offline to implement the 6.3.2b update to the game. The update includes the returning Life Day, the game's tenth year anniversary celebrations, and more.


Update 6.3.2b will bring back Life Day, the Christmas event for "STAR WARS: The Old Republic." Life Day includes multiple festive goodies and throwable snowballs.

Other events that will come later in the game include: two weeks of double experience, the Feast of Prosperity in January, and Total Conquest Weeks that will tie into the upcoming "Legacy of the Sith" Expansion.


Today will also be the start of the tenth anniversary celebrations of "STAR WARS: The Old Republic."


The celebrations include discounts on strongholds, purchasable Renown Boots, the "Legacy of the Sith" expansion in Feb. 15, 2022, and more.

The "Legacy of the Sith" expansion was announced July 1, 2021. The expansion will add combat styles, new areas such as the mysterious planet Elom, new rewards, and general improvements.


The "Legacy of the Sith" expansion was going to originally release Dec. 14, 2021. However, the expansion was delayed to next year.


"Legacy of the Sith is something the team has been hard at work on for quite a while but as we get ever closer to launch, it is clear that we need a bit more time," Project Director Keith Kanng said when announcing the delay.

"We’re focusing additional testing on the many areas we have changed throughout the game to deliver the experience we want, and one that you deserve."


"STAR WARS: The Old Republic" released in 2011. "STAR WARS: The Old Republic" is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) where players choose from eight stories based on the class they choose, exploring the "Star Wars" universe.


"STAR WARS: The Old Republic" has over 9,000 players on Steam according to Steam Charts.
