'Skullgirls Mobile' Down for Maintenance for 4.10 Update

The update will launch the Season's Beatings event, the Christmas event for "Skullgirls Mobile," and more.

"Skullgirls Mobile" will be down for a few hours as the 4.10 update is added to the mobile phone game. The update will include new fighters, characters with new skins/colours in new variants; the new Tributes Lab; and more.

"Skullgirls Mobile" will add three new fighters: silver Robo-Fortune, gold Cerebella, and a mysterious diamond character.

All three will be available for a limited time during the Christmas event, Season's Beating. Ornamental Relics and Frosted Diamond Relics, which now gives the player two relics each time they're opened, will include the exclusive fighters.

Season's Beating will go on until Jan. 31, 2022. Furthermore, until Dec. 25, players will receive a free festive goodie everyday they log into "Skullgirls Mobile." These can be redeemed in the Offers Store.

There is also the addition of Tributes Lab, where players can spend Skill Points to get Special Moves, fighters, and more. Each character has their own Skill Points, which can only be used to buy items for that specific character.

There are also Spotlight Relics that will be added Dec. 20. These will include variants and help players claim any variants they're missing. The first Spotlight Relic will mostly include variants for the character Annie.

Other changes involve balancing for fighters, increasing fighter & move capacities to 1,000 & 2,000 respectively, adjustments to prize fights, and more.

"Skullgirls Mobile" released in 2017 in the App Store and the Google Play Store. "Skullgirls Mobile" is a fighting game where each character seeks the Skullgirl, who has the Skull Heart. The Skull Heart is a dangerous entity that can make any wish come true.

"Skullgirls Mobile" is the mobile phone version of the original "Skullgirls," which released in 2013, now titled "Skullgirls 2nd Encore." Both version are developed by Hidden Variable Games and published by Autumn Games.

Outside of gameplay, "Skullgirls Mobile" and "Skullgirls 2nd Encore" include story differences too, such as how "Skullgirls Mobile" has origin stories for each character which aren't present in "Skullgirls 2nd Encore."
