With the new Mii Costumes for the highly-requested Shantae, Dante, Lloyd Irving, and Dragonborn have been deconfirmed as characters.

When a character is turned into a Mii Costume in “Super Smash Bros. Ultimate,” it means they'll never be added to the respective version of the game.

For a lot of fans of Shantae from the “Shantae” franchise, Dante from “Devil May Cry,” Lloyd Irving from “Tales of Symphonia,” and Dragonborn from “Skyrim,” this is a dream-crushing Monday.

That isn’t to say there aren’t people looking at the bright side of these Mii Costumes. Shantae’s Mii Costume even comes with the Neo Burning Town music track from “Shantae: Half Genie Hero.”

These four characters are also now playable in some form, which some fans are happy about.

However, for some Super Smash Bros. Fans, this Mii Costume announcement was the big takeaway today, as opposed to the livestream showcasing Kazuya’s character.
