Competitive Sports Title 'Roller Champions' has 'Gone Gold'

After almost four years since its announcement, "Roller Champions" will soon have a release date.

The "Roller Champions" Twitter has announced that the game has gone gold. This means the full version of the free-to-play title is now in manufacturing, with copies being released and shipped soon.


According to the "Roller Champions" Twitter, they will give release date details soon.

"Roller Champions" was originally planned to release in 2020, however it was pushed back to 2021.


"Roller Champions" was also pushed back to a 2022 release and then late Spring 2022 release in March this year.


"The team has concluded that they need a bit more time to deliver the successful game you deserve," the announcement for the late Spring 2022 delay said.

After over three years, "Roller Champions" will soon have a concrete launch date.


"Roller Champions" has players compete in three versus three matches where teams must hold onto the ball and complete a full lap while keeping the ball The more laps done; the more points earned when getting the ball in the hoop.

"Roller Champions" is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal, who has worked on titles like "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," "Watch_Dogs 2," and more.


"Roller Champions" is being released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Ubisoft Connect.
