The Sandbox Title 'Core Keeper' Sells over 500,000 Copies in Early Access

From 100,000 copies sold in its first two days of release, to over half a million downloads in nearly two weeks.

The sandbox title has only been in Steam Early Access for less than two weeks, but now has over 500,000 downloads. Pugstorm made a Steam news post to celebrate the occasion, along with confirming Steam Deck verification.

"Core Keeper" so far has nearly two million hours watched on Twitch from streamers such as CohhCarnage, sodapoppin, and more. Members on the "Core Keeper" Discord have also been sharing their streams on the Discord server.

"All of this has skyrocketed Core Keeper’s hours watched to well over 1,900,000," the Steam News post by Pugstorm said, "and we’re on the road to 2 million thanks to you!"

With "Core Keeper" verified for Steam Deck, the experience is now portable.

"Core Keeper is now officially verified for Steam Deck," the Steam News post by Pugstorm also said. "Now, you don’t even have to be sitting at your computer to play Core Keeper, giving you on-the-go access to your underground adventure and the freedom to play whenever you want, wherever you want.

"We wouldn’t be celebrating all these amazing milestones without your support, and we appreciate it more than you could imagine."

"Core Keeper" released March 8, 2022, on Steam. "Core Keeper" is a sandbox, dungeon-crawler with farming simulator mechanics and more.

"Core Keeper" is Pugstorm's second game, the first being the 2020 action-adventure puzzle title "Radical Rabbit Stew."
