Version 2.2 Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog will include Inazuma's sixth and the last major island, alongside a playable Thoma.
As revealed in a PlayStation blog by miHoYo Studio Technical Director, Zhenzhong Yi, the sixth island, Tsurumi Island, is in a heavy fog. Rifthounds and Rifhound Whelps roam the island, using the fog to their advantage.

Thoma will also become a playable character in Version 2.2, a four-star fire-based character.
More items for customizing realms have been added too, such as a Silken Courtyard, more flowers, a new furnishing type called the floating platform, and more furnishing blueprints in general.
There will also be events for players to enjoy, such as the Tuned to the World's Sound Event, Labyrinth Warriors Event, and more.
Additionally, miHiYo is holding a raffle event on social media platforms, offering in-game rewards, as another way to celebrate their one year anniversary. The raffle event ends October 7 at 11:59 a.m. EST.
This raffle event and Version 2.2 details come after the controversy with how miHiYo handled the "Genshin Impact" anniversary, due to the previous lack of rewards and celebration in-game, upsetting fans.
