'War Thunder' Launches the Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. Holiday Event

Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. will run until January 10, 2022, with many Stars and vehicles to collect.

Starting today, "War Thunder" is hosting its holiday event. By completing quests, players will be able to unlock multiple vehicles, camouflages, and decals.

Vehicle camouflages are obtained when reaching the right number of Stars for three separate categories: Tanker Stars, Pilot Stars, or Sailor Stars.

Premium vehicle decals in the II ranks will be available instantly while event vehicle decals ranked IV-VII will be given in the form of coupons.

Players can receive up to seven coupons for the Female Warriors decals, with an eighth coupon available for those who activated the coupon key from the "War Thunder" Facebook group. This eighth coupon is no longer available.

Stars are obtained by completing three of five quests for each Star type, such as defeating 12 enemies in a battle, getting first place in a Naval battle, and more.

Tasks will not change, but will reset every two days, giving players 13 total chances to get Stars. Stars can also be bought using Golden Eagles, the in-game currency.

"War Thunder" is a 2013 simulation shooter where players pilot tanks, ships, and planes to win battles. "War Thunder" is a free-to-play title with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer.

"War Thunder" released for PC, later releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox One.

Any rewards received in coupon form can be traded or put on the Steam Market.
