The 'Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" Franchise on Sale on Steam Now

The three "Ghost Recon" titles from Red Storm Entertainment are on sale from up to 75 per cent.


The sale only includes the "Ghost Recon," games. Titles such as "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2," "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint," aren't on Steam's platform.

The "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" franchise started in 2001 with the original "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" in 2001. The other two titles on sale, "Future Soldier" and "Wildlands," released in 2012 and 2018, respectively.

Tom Clancy is an American novelist who started publishing novels in 1984 with "The Hunt for Red October." According to Tom Clancy's biography on this website, "from that day forward, Clancy established himself as an undisputed master at blending exceptional realism and authenticity, intricate plotting, and razor-sharp suspense."


Tom Clancy passed away at the age of 66 in 2013 due to heart failure.


In 1996, Red Storm Entertainment, the development studio behind the "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" titles, was founded in 1996. One of the founders was Tom Clancy.

The first "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" would be released after Ubisoft bought Red Storm Entertainment in 2000.


Red Storm Entertainment was also founded by 17 developers, Creative Director Steve Reid, and former British Royal Navy Captain Doug Littlejohns.
